EVENT OVERVIEW

Golf Channel is very proud to announce a return to Bayonet and Black Horse in Monterey, CA.  This stroke play championship will be contested on the Bayonet and Black Horse Courses with contestants having a scheduled round on each course.  Tour Players from all over the country will converge on Northern California competing for double Points, qualifying spots into the 2020 National Championship, and the tilte of "Monterey Amateur Champion".  

 

Both courses underwent dramatic view-shed alterations and hole re-routings to reveal new, breathtaking ocean vistas and improved playing options (including new bentrgrass greens.)  Host of the 2012 & 2018 PGA Professional National Championship, this facility boasts PGA Tour-caliber practice facilities and hosts other events such as PGA Tour and Champions Tour Qualifying School, and U.S Open Qualifying.  

Entry includes green fees, use of practice facility, generous prize fund, trophies, double points, scoring, and tee prize
.

FORMAT

 

36-hole stroke play major championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 

November 8 - Player Registration & Check-In from 3PM to 5PM

November 9 - Player Registration & Check-In from 6AM - 8:30AM
November 9 - 1st round of Stroke Play from 7AM - 10AM
November 10 - Final Round of Stroke Play from 7AM - 10AM
November 10 - Awards Ceremony from 12PM - 2PM

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

 

Entry deadline is October 22 at 6PM, noting the event will sell-out well in advance of this deadline.  All entries are on a 1st come, 1st served basis

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Players may withdraw less a $75 cancellation fee up until the entry deadline.  Any withdraws or no-shows after this date will not be refunded for anyr eason
