EVENT OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Golf Channel Amateur Tour’s 2019 National Championship at the beautiful PGA National Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach, FL. The 2019 National Championship will be conducted on four terrific golf courses, all located on the grounds of PGA National Resort & Spa. The golf courses played will be:
The Champions Course
The Fazio Course
The Squire Course
The Palmer Course
The National Championships are individual, 72-hole stroke play tournaments. Qualifiers from across the country will converge on Southeast, FL in spirited competition to crown a National Champion in each flight. Registration for the National Championships will open in May 2019.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee for the 2019 National Championship is $795. This includes: four rounds of championship golf, player welcome package, nightly scoring functions, spousal event, and much more
- Cancellation Policy

$125 cancellation fee for any withdrawal up until August 27, 2019 at 6PM, EST, when registration closes. After this date there will be no refunds.
(Please note there is no cancellation fee for players who apply to play and are not officially accepted into the tournament)

- Eligibility Criteria

Please note ELIGIBILITY: As described in the Player Handbook, all qualified players must meet all of the following eligibility requirements before acceptance to compete in the National and Senior National Championships:
- Must complete seven (7) tournament rounds on the AM Tour.
- Two (2) of the tournament rounds must come on/after June 1, 2019.

HOST HOTEL / LODGING
The PGA National Resort & Spa is proud to be the Host Hotel for the 2019 Golf Channel Amateur Tour's National and Senior National Championship. The Resort will be the host site of Player Registration, Spousal Event, Nightly Scoring Functions, and of course, GREAT GOLF!!
2019 GUEST ROOM RATES: All rates are subject to a 13% room tax. All rates will be honored 5 days prior and 5 days after the tournament. Self-Parking is included for guests staying at the resort. Non-resort guests will be subject to a daily $10 parking fee.
To make reservations, call 844-821-0028. All reservations must be made by Friday, August 23, 2019. You must let the reservationist know that you are with the Golf Channel Am Tour National Championships to get the below rates. All rooms are on a first come, first served basis and will likely be sold-out, so book your room ASAP.
Run of House: $139 plus applicable taxes (Resort Fee inclusive)
Junior Suite: $189 plus applicable taxes (Resort Fee inclusive)
2 Bedroom Cottage: $279 plus applicable taxes (Resort Fee inclusive)
PLAYER PRACTICE ROUNDS
National Championship participants can schedule practice rounds at their discretion as follows:
PGA NATIONAL RESORT & SPA - Fazio and Squire Courses
Players may start to book their practice rounds by calling after August 10, 2019 for the Fazio and Squire courses by calling 561-627-2000 ext 5556.
Practice round rates will be $75 + tax from September 10 - 16 and September 21 - 22
PGA NATIONAL RESORT & SPA - Palmer Course
Players may start to book their practice rounds on the Palmer course on September 10 by calling 561-627-2000 ext 5556
Practice round rate is $85 + tax and limited to September 10 - 16 and September 21 - 22.
PGA NATIONAL RESORT & SPA - Champions Course
Players may start to book their practice rounds on the Champions course on September 10 by calling 561-627-2000 ext 5556
*Please note all practice rounds booked in advance will be played starting at 11AM or later.
Practice round rate is $95 + tax and limited to September 10 - 16 and September 21 - 22.
