The Links Golf Club is located on Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, a unique and charming destination on Florida’s beautiful Emerald Coast. This will be the 18 Hole opening event to the Emerald Coast Amateur.

The Links Golf Club at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk reward golf that provides players with breathtaking bayfront views along with a heart-pounding challenge. This is Sandestin’s original golf course which opened in 1973.

Renowned architect Tom Jackson designed this winding layout against the backdrop of the  Choctawhatchee Bay. With five holes that run along the bay, guests are treated to a links-style golf outing like no other on the Emerald Coast. A shot-maker’s course, accuracy and proper club selection are a must if you want to outfox the prevailing Gulf Coast winds.

 

EVENT OVERVIEW

This will be an 18 hole stroke play event. Tour Players from all over the country will converge and compete for Trophies, Gift Cards, Race to Nationals Points and most important, bragging rights.

 

 

FORMAT

18-hole stroke play championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

All participants are required to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Registration and scoring will be held in or near the main Clubhouse. 

 

Starting times, locations and pairings will be emailed to each Tour Player and posted online at least 3 days in advance of the tournament. All players should be at their assigned tee a minimum of 10 minutes in advance of their start time. Starters will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group. Starters/course are not responsible for getting players to the tee.

 

* In the event of a tie for 1st place, an on-course playoff will commence immediately following conclusion of regular play.

*Payouts will be awarded to (approximately) the top 30% of each flight

*Trophies will be awarded to Event Champions
