EVENT OVERVIEW
The Preserve Golf Club is eighteen holes of “pure golf” designed by U.S. Open champion and award winning golf course designer Jerry Pate. The course encompasses 245 pristine acres, surrounded by an additional 1800 acres of dedicated nature preserve. The native surroundings of pitcher plant bogs, cypress swamps, long leaf pine savannah, live oak groves and native grass prairies have been integrated into the design of the 18-hole, par-71 layout. The Preserve offers five sets of tees, unprecedented course condition and superior guest service.
FORMAT
18-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All participants are required to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Registration and scoring will be held in or near the main Clubhouse.
Starting times, locations and pairings will be emailed to each Tour Player and posted online at least 3 days in advance of the tournament. All players should be at their assigned tee a minimum of 10 minutes in advance of their start time. Starters will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group. Starters/course are not responsible for getting players to the tee.
Procedures for awards and ties
* Payouts will be awarded to (approximately) the top 30% of each flight
* Trophies will be awarded to Event Champions
* In the event of a tie for 1st place, an on-course playoff will commence immediately following conclusion of regular play.
* All other places will be handled by a scorecard playoff

ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT OPTIONS & SIDE GAMES
Entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, scoring, and prize fund.
An optional $20 Flight Skins game, a $10 Giant Skins game and a $10 David Ferhity Troops First 50/50 Raffle will be made available to interested players at check-in.
Players may request to pay the entry fee via cash or check at the event. To put in your request, please contact Frank Knowles by email at fknowles@gcamtour.com . Please see next paragraph.
On most events approved players may pay by cash or check if prior arrangements have been made with the director. Once a player has made the commitment the arrangement falls under the same restrictions as any other registration. Cancellation fees are still owed if a player cancels prior to the cancellation deadline and full tournament fees are still owed if cancellation occurs after Registration Close.
The players commitment to play is still valid and all monies due must be paid before the player will be allowed to play another Birmingham or Gulf Coast event.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A $35.00 CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED UNTIL REGISTRATION CLOSING.WITHDRAWALS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES WILL NOT BE REFUNDEDD FOR ANY REASON.
