Event Overview

 

 

 

The Golf Channel Amateur Tour is proud to be conducting a fall Major Am Tour event for the first time in three years.  We are excited to be holding this Major at the beautiful Lost Pines Resort outside Austin, Texas.  Event dates are November 3rd and 4th, 2018.  

Please note this Major will be a limited filed event, with the maximum field size of 120 players.

 

This Major will be conducted at the Wolfdancer Golf Club, which is on the property of the Lost Pines Resort.  This will not be the first time the Am Tour has played Wolfdancer, as there have been a few local Am Tour events held at Wolfdancer through the years.

 

Wolfdancer, named in tribute to the heritage to the Tonkawa tribe of Central Texas, will test a golfer’s skills across a mix of terrains.

Each player, no matter how skilled, will find Wolfdancer a challenging yet satisfying experience.

 

Once again, we are thrilled to be conducting our first Major at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort - Wolfdancer Golf Club.

 

Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome gift, generous prize fund and electronic scoring. 

QUALIFIERS 

 

The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2019 National Championship.  

 

 

Please note:  A Tour Player becomes eligible for the National Championships by completing seven (7) tournament rounds on the Am Tour, two (2) of which must be local tournaments, with the following restriction:

• Two (2) of the tournament rounds must come on/after June 1, 2019
  • A tournament round is considered a posted 18-hole tournament score

 

 

 

COURSE CLOSURE DUE TO WEATHER 

In case of poor weather and a course has to close, 18 holes completed by a flight will be considered a complete tournament. 

There will be NO refunds given if the tournament is shortened to 18 holes.
