EVENT OVERVIEW
The Golf Channel Am Tour is excited to be heading back to the scenic Horseshoe Bay Resort in the Texas Hill Country for the 2019 Texas Open Major Championship.
This will mark the 8th year in a row the Texas Open has been held at Horseshoe Bay.
Nestled along Lake LBJ, Horseshoe Bay is one of the most picturesque venues in Texas. We are proud to be holding the Texas Open at two great golf courses, Slick Rock and Ram Rock.
Ram Rock, Horseshoe Bay Resort’s third championship Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course, was completed in 1986 and received distinction as "Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest. Widely known as one of the most scenic courses in the state, this spectacular course spans 147 acres of the rolling Texas Hill Country along the shores of Lake LBJ. Ram Rock was re-done in 2018 and has been widely praised throughout the golf community in making it a more player friendly, yet still challenging test of golf.
Built in 1971, with multiple tees on every hole, more than 71 sand traps and 12 water hazards, Slick Rock embodies the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. philosophy of “hard par, easy bogey.” Slick Rock also is home to the awe-inspiring “Million Dollar Hole” (No. 14) featuring a winding cart path that takes golfers on a ride through a waterfall that spans more than 35 yards and empties more than 8,000 gallons of water into Slick Rock creek each minute.
Once again we are proud to be heading back to Horseshoe Bay, which is one of the more popular stops on the Am Tour circuit.

ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
Entry Fee is $450, which includes 36 holes of golf with a shared golf cart and a player welcome prize upon registration.

36-hole stroke play Major championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis

Groups will be paired in threesomes
ENTRY DEADLINE
Registration opens: February 1st, 2019
Registration closes: June 7th, 2019 at 5:00pm EST
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $75 cancellation fee will apply to any withdraw prior to the established deadline of June 7th at 5:00PM EST
Any withdraws after the established deadline will not be refunded for any reason.
LODGING
The fabulous Horseshoe Bay Resort is the HOST HOTEL for this Major Championship.
Hotel room rates are $179 per night, subject to a daily resort charge and applicable taxes that are in effect at the time of check in.
