EVENT OVERVIEW
The Golf Channel Amateur Tour will host the innaugural .Caribbean Amateur Championship at Punta Cana. Players from around the country and the caribbean will compete on the premier La Cana Golf Course and the PGA Tour's Corales course. Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2010, Corales is an exclusive and dramatic 18-hole course with six Caribbean Oceanside holes. Designed along the natural cliffs, bays, ocean coves and the inland lakes and coralina quarries, Corales Golf Course rates among the World’s finest Golf Experiences. The exhilarating challenge culminates playing the Devil’s Elbow, Corales’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking eighteenth hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff lined Bay of Corales, an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience.
Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring.
QUALIFIERS
The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2019 National Championship.

Final Round of play from 7:30 to 9:30 am off Holes #1 and #10 off holes #1 and #10 Corales and La Can courses
Sunday May 19th, 2019
Awards Presentation at the course that you completed your round as soon as the flight is completed.
ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
$595 is the entry fee and it includes one scheduled round on the La Cana Course and one scheduled round for the Corales Course. Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring
ENTRY DEADLINE
Registration Opens on January1st at noon and closes on May 3rd, 2019 at Noon.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $75 Cancellation fee applies to any cancellation prior to May 3rd, 2019 an 12:00PM. Any cancellation after May 3rd, 2019 an 12:00PM will not be refunded for any reason.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Corales $150 per player + tax + mandatory caddie $75 gratuity paid cash to the caddie + and La Cana $100 + tax

CUT-OFF DATE
After the reservation cut-off date of Monday, March 18th, 2019, the Hotel will release all unreserved rooms for general sale. Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted at the sole discretion of the Hotel on a space and rate availability basis. If the Group Room Rate is not available after the cut-off date, the Hotel’s prevailing rack rates will apply to confirm additional reservation requests.
