The Grand Cypress Major is Sold Out!!!  Any players signing up will go on the waiting list, but the tournament is full.  I do not believe anyone signing up for the waiting list will get into the tournament.  If you do, it will be at the last minute.

 

EVENT OVERVIEW
 

Grand Cypress will once again be the host for a Golf Channel Amateur Tour Major Championship. The Grand Cypress Challenge will be contested over 36-holes. All participants are scheduled to play one (1) round at the North/South course and one (1) round at the New Course. Tour Players from all over the country will converge on Orlando, Florida competing for double Order of Merit Points, exemptions into the 2019 National Championship, and the coveted title of "Grand Cypress Challenge Champion".

Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring.

QUALIFIERS

The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2019 National Championship

FORMAT

 

18-hole stroke play championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS

Friday, January 11th, 2019 

Tournament check-in will be from 3:30pm to 6:30pm in the NINE 18 Restaurant across from the Golf Shop in the Grand Cypress Clubhouse

 

Saturday January 12th, 2019

First Round of play from 7:30 to 9:30 am off Holes #1 and #10

 

Sunday January 13th, 2019

Final Round of play from 7:30 to 9:30 am off Holes #1 and #10

 

Sunday January 6th, 2019

Awards Presentation in the NINE 18 Restaurant as soon as the flight is completed.

 

 

ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION

 

$495 is the entry fee and it includes one scheduled round on the New Course and one scheduled round for the North/South Course.  Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

 

Registration Opens on October 1st at noon and closes on January 4th at Noon.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

A $75 Cancellation fee applies to any cancellation prior to January 4th, 2019 an 12:00PM.  Any cancellation after January 4th, 2019 an 12:00PM will not be refunded for any reason.
