This GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour competition is governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by, the USGA and the R&A, the Am Tour Hard Card and the following Local Rules and Terms of the Competition. Disregard any and all local rules printed on the course scorecard.

FORMAT - Two 9 hole rounds of stroke play, flighted by Am Tour tournament index or by another verifiable handicap index. If weather or other conditions do not allow the full 18 holes to be completed the tournament will be reduced to 9 holes if possible.

TEE MARKERS - Play will be from the teeing area indicated on the official scorecard.

SCORECARDS - Immediately upon completion of the round, all competitors in the group must return scorecards to the Committee at the scoring area in the clubhouse. The player should check the scores entered by the marker and raise any issues with the committee, make sure the marker certifies the scorecard, must not change a hole score without the marker's agreement or Committee's approval and must certify the scorecard.

TIES - For all first place ties in a flight, there will be an on-course playoff (course availability/weather/daylight permitting). The Tournament Director will designate the starting hole for the playoff. If an on-course playoff is not possible (and for ties in places involving prizes), a scorecard playoff will take place using the procedure shown in the Player Handbook.

CLOSE OF COMPETITION - The competition for each flight is deemed to have closed when the trophy has been presented to the winner.

LOCAL RULES:

DROPPING ZONES - Championship/Sr. Championship, Palmer/Sr. Palmer or Hogan/Sr. Hogan flights only; marked Dropping Zones on the course may not be used, unless otherwise noted.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR – Winter Kill in the General Area is GUR. Find the nearest point of complete relief. Includes french drains and cultivated flower/shrubbery beds (NO PLAY ZONES) even if not marked.

PENALTY AREAS – Unmarked bodies of water on the course are treated as RED penalty areas. The edge of the unmarked penalty area is treated as being the mow line or, when mowed to the edge of the water, 2 club-lengths from the waters edge. When a penalty area is defined on only one side it extends to infinity. When a penalty area is connected to the out-of-bounds edge, the penalty area extends to and coincides with out-of-bounds.

RELIEF FROM SEAMS OF CUT TURF - If a player's ball lies in or touches a seam of cut turf or a seam interferes with the player's area of intended swing. Interference does not exist if the seam only interferes with the player's stance.

BACK-ON-THE-LINE RELIEF – When taking Back-on-the-Line Relief, there is no additional penalty if a player plays a ball that was dropped in the relief area required by the relevant Rule (16.1c(2), 17.1d(2), 19.2b, or 19.3b) but came to rest outside the relief area, so long as the ball, when played, is within one club-length of where it first touched the ground when dropped, even if nearer the hole than the reference point.
